How Does The Church in America Increase Her Credibility, Relevancy, And Vitality?

After serving 21 years as a Senior Pastor in two churches, we joined Novo on July 1, 2003. Our assignment calls us to be missionaries to the church, not from the church, to reach people beyond the church. We bring fresh hope, new ideas, lots of encouragement, and a boat load of challenge to leaders inside and outside the church.
Why Ministry Matters
God’s invites us to experience way more. We mobilize Christians for the more God has awaiting them.
We observe too many Christians know what they’ve been saved from, but not what they have been saved for.
This robs them of their identity and hinders their ability to make a difference.
A vibrant, authentic, daily encounter with God changes our identity, values, priorities, and rescues us from an unsatisfying religious experience.
Pastors and churches face extraordinary challenges. We revitalize churches starting with her leaders. Personal renewal proceeds and is integrated with congregational change. We work with God’s people individually and corporately to:
Discover their biblical identity, so they can embrace God’s deeply rooted love
Clarify their values, so they can more effectively give their lives away to others
Steward their impact, so they can selflessly engage in the brokenness of the world— its people and systems in order to demonstrate and proclaim the goodness of Christ and then ask for a response
Every follower of Jesus plays a vital role in God’s redemptive purpose and plan. We are committed to forming healthy churches that build teams by turning church members into courageous missionaries in their cities so that whole networks and neighborhood of new disciples of Jesus are made. We catalyze movements of the Gospel to advance God’s kingdom on earth because:
The cultural landscape changes so rapidly we must adapt our methods
Robust disciples, living on mission with Jesus, involves equipping and releasing
The church is called, gifted, and sent into the culture to offer hope, help, and healing
